Disturbances Brought about by Human Activities in Relation to the Eco-Environment of the Main Stream of the Tarim River, 2000–2020

The main stream of the Tarim River in China is typical ecologically sensitive areas that have been heavily disturbed by human activities; as such, monitoring quality its eco-environment constitutes an important task for researchers. By using GlobeLand30 data and applying disturbance degree model revised ecosystem service value (ESV) model, study presented this paper undertook a quantitative estimation effects impacts activities on area period 2000 to 2020. conclusions are follows: (1) index values, which reflect local activities, increased over period. Further, cultivated land experienced largest increase, which, turn, brought about most significant eco-environment. High values patchy distribution west formed bands dots east; characterized high moderate increased, with growth taking scattered patches, bands, without spatial continuity. (2) total ESV indicating improved. increase offset ESV, counteracted ecological governance measures. Areas were mainly located western central parts area, while low found middle east east. higher increases part reaches took zonal distribution, decrease followed presenting or patches.
